A high-level delegation from The Gambia, led by the Hon. Minister of Petroleum, Energy, and Mines, attended the Africa Energies Summit 2025 in London (May 13th –15th). The team included officials from the Ministry of Petroleum, Energy and Mines (MOPEM), the Petroleum Commission (PC), and the Gambia National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).
The delegation engaged in key discussions, including:
Ministerial panels on investment, fiscal strategies, and the future of Exploration & Production.
Africa’s Upstream Outlook sessions focusing on West Africa and the MSGBC Basin’s opportunities and challenges.
They also held strategic meetings with industry partners to promote The Gambia’s exploration prospects and the broader MSGBC Basin potential.
This participation underscores The Gambia’s commitment to advancing its energy sector through collaboration and investment.
