The Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) launched the maiden African Petroleum Regulators Forum (AFRIPERF) roundtable on July 1, 2024, at the sidelines of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Week at the ICC Aso Hall in Abuja, Nigeria. Among the attendees were our Deputy Director General, Kanni Touray and representatives from Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, and Congo.
AFRIPERF aims to facilitate cooperation and coordination among African countries’ petroleum regulators, share knowledge, enhance capacity in petroleum resource management, advocate for African petroleum producers at the international level, and promote investments and economic development in the petroleum sector across Africa.
